Mr. Olympia Brazil Expo 2024: The Beginning of a Dream

The largest bodybuilding competition in Brazil is about to begin, promising to turn dreams into reality for many athletes. The fourth edition of the Mr. Olympia Brazil Expo will take place from October 18 to 20 at the Anhembi District in São Paulo (SP). The event, organized by the Savaget Group in partnership with Musclecontest, will award 21 pro cards, credentials that grant access to the elite of bodybuilding and open doors for athletes to compete in the 2025 Mr. Olympia in the United States.

These credentials are the key to success in the world of bodybuilding, allowing amateur athletes to turn professional and participate in the most prestigious competition in the sport. “This further increases the importance of the Mr. Olympia Brazil Expo, which usually attracts competitors from various countries, in addition to being the first showcase for Brazilians who want to go far in the sport,” says Tamer El Guindy, CEO of Musclecontest.

Expectations and Inspiration

The event organizers expect to host around 1,300 athletes during the three days of competition. Many of these athletes aim to follow in the footsteps of icons like Ramon Dino and Rafa Brandão. A truly inspiring example is Saionara Rabelo, who debuted in the competition in 2023 and won the figure category. “It is an indescribable feeling to be the champion of the Mr. Olympia Brazil Expo, considered the largest and most challenging competition in the country. It was there that I became a professional and gained visibility, which translated into sponsorships,” says Saionara.

The figure category, won by Saionara, requires significant muscle development and a low body fat percentage, with an emphasis on the torso and arms. The 2023 edition was a milestone, attracting more than 23,000 visitors and generating over 100 million reais in business transactions.

Sports Nutrition Expo and Business Opportunities

In addition to the competitions, the Mr. Olympia Brazil Expo also stands out for its sports nutrition expo, which is a highlight of the event. With more than 60 exhibitors and 2,250 retailers present, the 2023 edition was an absolute success. “I have no doubt that this is one of the most anticipated moments of the year for all bodybuilding enthusiasts who use supplements and seek motivation from the competitors’ images. The industry, of course, is grateful and does everything to attract this consumer audience,” comments Ana Paula Graziano Leal, CEO of Savaget Group.
