From October 18th to 20th, São Paulo will host the largest bodybuilding and sports nutrition event in Brazil, the Mr. Olympia Brasil Expo 2024. In its fourth edition, the event will relocate to Distrito Anhembi, at Avenida Olavo Fontoura, 1209, Santana, reflecting its continuous growth and increasing demand in recent years. The new location promises an even grander experience for athletes, exhibitors, and visitors.
With less than three months to go, the fair has already sold 80% of its booths, signaling the high interest from the market. Mr. Olympia Brasil Expo is the premier event of its kind in the country, featuring both an international bodybuilding championship and a vast exhibition of related products.
This year, approximately 1,300 athletes are expected to compete, vying for 21 pro cards, which guarantee participation in the Mr. Olympia held later in the year in the United States. “Brazil is a powerhouse in the sport, respected worldwide. Hosting such championships, which also attract athletes from other countries, is another sign of prestige,” says Tamer El Guindy, CEO of Musclecontest, a partner in organizing the event.
The success of the Mr. Olympia Brasil Expo is also driven by the strong support of leading sports nutrition brands like Black Skull, Max Titanium, Probiótica, and Shark Pro, which continue their long-term sponsorships. “Being at Mr. Olympia Brasil Expo guarantees that you are part of the machinery that drives the wellness market, which generates 5.6 trillion dollars in business worldwide,” explains Ana Paula Graziano Leal, CEO of Savaget Group, the event organizer.
In 2023, the event, also held in São Paulo, set attendance records with over 23,000 visitors, 60 exhibitors, 2,250 retailers, 150 journalists, and 1,300 athletes. Business transactions exceeded 100 million reais, solidifying the event as one of the leading ones in its sector in Brazil.
The 2024 edition promises to surpass these numbers and reaffirm Mr. Olympia Brasil Expo as an essential event for everyone involved in bodybuilding and sports nutrition.
